I received a BA in Accounting from the University of Washington in 1986. I graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law in 1989 and went on to obtain an LL.M in Taxation from the University of Florida School of Law. I qualified for my CPA license in 1990. I am presently a CPA Inactive. I am a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Spokane County Bar Association, and Spokane Estate Planning Council. I have served on the boards of over fifteen different not for profits and foundations within our community. The focus of my practice is meeting the needs of the individual whether it is though designing an estate plan, assisting with a probate or establishing a small business or not for profit. I provide an initial one-hour consultation either in person or over the phone at no charge. As a solo law practitioner with low overhead, I bill clients $125 per hour for my services. By comparison, the average legal practitioner with my level of experience is typically billing over $300 per hour.
I was born and raised in Spokane. My husband and I returned to this area to raise our three sons who are now adults. Like many residents of the Northwest, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoy running, cycling, downhill skiing, golf, and hiking.
